The past two days I’ve been getting this painful sharp piercing feeling on the right side of my head. It lasts for one to two seconds, feels as though it kind of spreads out and fades away. It comes back every few minutes. It’s nothing like a migraine; more like I’m being stabbed in the brain. I’d rather not go to the doctor if it’s something silly so I was wondering has anyone else had this happen? What was it?

- I’ve been suffering with vertigo for about a year now. The attacks last about 30 minutes and I get them in bursts - ie I might not get them for a couple of weeks then have them daily. I’ve seen a consultant and had a brain scan etc which was normal. There is partial hearing loss in one ear, but this is not believed to be related and the diagnosis was a “virus”. This was made about 10 months ago and it has got no better. I’ve had my eyes checked by the optician and there is nothing untoward with them. I’ve been back to my GP (who has now advised me to stop driving), and asked whether it’s my ears that are causing it or migraines. She said it could be either and gave me some drugs to prevent migraines. I’m just getting nowhere with it and it’s driving me insane. The doctor seems very casual about it on the basis that there is nothing wrong with my brain, but it’s a horrible condition and I don’t understand why it started all of a sudden. Help! - I first off noticed that when i curled my foot up, as to put on a socks/boots, i had sudden cramping pains, almost as if in my veins or nerves. Also when i would stretch or flex my feet. It went away once i straightened my foot out. I once decided to bare through the pain, and forced my foot to stay curled so i could get my boot on, and it caused my foot to lock up and stay in that pain for about 2 minutes. Needless to say, i have not done that again since. I later noticed that my legs, while standing for a few minutes, would somtimes shake uncontrollably. I thought it was from previous months of anxiety at first, causing my nerves to go crazy now, but along with all of the other symptoms, i am not so sure. My legs will quit shaking after a few minutes of sitting. It usually only happens when i go places, never around the house or anything. It has only happened about 4 times though. Lastly, i noticed that my legs get tired very easily and seem to semi-cramp up. And, when i sit down, my legs and feet begin to tingle as if they are beginning to get blood flow again or as if they are “waking up from being asleep” feeling. It is very strange, but is kinda beginning to worry me. I am a healthy teen now, who workouts at least 5 times a week. I recently was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia, IBS, migraines, back problems, and chronic urinary tract infections. I finally found out last year, once my organs were beginning to fail, that i had internal yeast infection from an over-abundance of antibiotics. I also had many food sensitivites because of the internal yeast infection which caused me to have leaky gut syndrome. I started the elimination diet along with many vitamins, and i never felt better. Everything was completely gone. Unfortunately, over the summer i ate anything and everything i wanted, and i began to have many of the symptoms again. I was not suppose to do that clearly since it is suppose to become a lifestyle. I now feel much much better all of the sudden, but this is now acting up. So now i am wondering is it: Because i am flat-footed? Do i have a pinched nerve? Does my back need re-adjusting? Am i having anxiety problems? Do i have poor circulation? Or is it something serious? The most importent question i have though, is it something that i should be worried about and see a doctor as soon as possible?? TaylaBabay795 asked: Related Blogs Related Blogs on Anxiety Panic...
